UK leading air conditioning specialist, Weatherite Group Ltd, has recruited a new senior role to support its ambitious expansion plans.
The West Midlands-based company has recruited Mr David Quinn as Business Development Director, a new role created by the business, to drive procurement and sales in the fast-paced telecoms and data centre market, both in the UK and internationally. David brings significant expertise to the role, having over 25 years in the industry. He has spent the past seven years at Excool Group where he oversaw business and product development and successfully grew the business into Europe, China and America.
David, 48, said: “I’m already loving it and relishing this exciting challenge – establishing the new office and working with the energetic and committed team to take Weatherite to the next stage of growth in this huge market which has vast opportunity. I want to be able to help the company deliver a successful long-term strategy which means acquiring the right opportunities for the business.”
David will work alongside Weatherite’s existing telecoms team, which already works with some of the UK’s most prestigious companies, providing innovative, energy efficient, sustainable solutions in air conditioning and air handling. He will also sit on the Group Board of Directors, alongside other key members of staff.
